Kyra took her son to several specialists and GPs. She found some of the responses were dismissive, and others the other extreme. A U.S. study found that before the pandemic, the sudden onset of unexplained ticks accounted for around 1% of all tick disorder cases. Now, they're representing up to 35% of all cases. Professor Russell Dale is Clinical Director of the Kids Neuroscience Centre at Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney. He says there might be a link between Tick-tock and Tourette's Syndrome.
