Smedley Butler was born in Westchester, Pennsylvania on July 30th, 1881. Both his father and mother's families had been in the country since the 1600s. His maternal grandfather was Republican congressman from 1887 to 1891. The oldest of three boys,. Thomas and Maud Butler. Came from Smedley and Maud over here. It's us fucking dog shit. Dog Shit is a terrible name.
