Ira spent almost 18 years in prison for the murder of holly maddox. He claimed to have been framed by the fbi or the c i a nobody bought it. After 16 years, ira was finally tracked down in france where there is an extradition treaty. It took another four years to bring him back to the us. Iris supporters thought that he was being politically targeted and how could he possibly receive a fair trial after all this? Others were saying that the american justice system is so sick. I would say that's not nearly enough.
