The NRA and the NRA Board of Directors

Marion Hammer has been on the NRA board of directors for almost 40 years. She is also the sole paid employee of her nonprofit called Unified Sportsmen of Florida, which is an NRA gun rights affiliate. Her annual salary from both the NRA and USF combined has totaled at least $3.4 million between 2004 and 2018. The purpose of a board member is often to become a major contributor to the organization but also people that have a special expertise.
