I think that what we know from history is that ttelitarian leaders actually benefit from widespread hardship. When people are worried about survival, they fear change. I think an attempt to install a puppet regime in iis going to draw an extraordinary amount of resistance. And men, we're talking about a country that has built a contemporary mythography on being people being willing to die for their freedom.
