Arsenic in Candy and Aggregate Exposure

Florida first lady Casey DeSantis discussed her state's initiative to test for contaminants in food products, including baby formula, candy, and bread. The tests revealed that 17 out of 24 baby formulas had problematic levels of arsenic, lead, cadmium, and mercury. Florida is publishing these results to inform consumers and is encouraging other states to join the effort. The initiative also found glyphosate in many bread brands and arsenic in candy, particularly in Nerds and Jolly Ranchers.
