The Primary Goal of the Animal Study on Radiotherapy for Prostate Cancer
The ideal radio isotope for prostate cancer treatment is Y90. Nobody had ever really studied it with the current delivery platform that we have. We just wanted to show that we could deliver it technically as you mentioned and also safely without off target effects to all the surrounding tissues. And what we found surprisingly enough is there hasn't been any issues with off target radiation damage to the surrounding tissues, which was confirmed on path at pet MRI. The results are look very promising enough so that we're really excited to push this forward into a clinical trial as soon as we can to study in patients.
