The Church of the Living God

The word church or ecclesia means a gathering of those who are called out, who are consecrated. The second thing that Paul wants Timothy and for us to remember is that we are the church of the living God. Thirdly, Paul says, remember your calling and vocation in the world. We as a body of Christ, as believers in Christ, we have a higher calling.
