The Challenges of Hacking a Spacecraft

HACASA is a competition for cyber security professionals to hack satellites in space. The idea was to try to simulate the reality of space, says John Defterios. Unlike hacking a server that is relatively close by on Earth, these satellites are up in space and take time to send back signals. Some images of the moon were taken, but they never made it to the ground station because there was no time left.
