How did this rapidly spreading fire finally burn itself out? I think, at a certain point, the accusations come too close to home for various people. The horror of giles corey and the enormity of the accusations begins to make people ask questions. Could there really be this many witches in massachusetts? It isn't 50 witches any more. Now we're upt e hundred witches at one point. This is not a hugely populated, you kno colony. could there really be that many witches? So i think, to some extent, the dimensions begin to defy logic.
