"I can be gifted in certain areas and still suck on paper at them," he says. "My assumption that I was not well, that I was dumb, masked my ADHD for quite a while because it was just an easier explanation" His symptoms were much more subtle than those of his friend who has Asperger's syndrome. He is grateful to have been diagnosed with ADHD early.
