The Conflict Between Darwin's Theory of Evolution and Religion
At age eight or nine, I chose to walk up to the front of the church and accept Jesus as my Savior. My parents weren't there. And there was no pressure from them at all. So I was quite religious. But it was when I was a sophomore in high school that I really understood the theory of natural selection. Very, very, very simple principles can, in principle, explain tremendous complexity. That's what intellectual elegance is.
