Despite the fact that code bases are growing at, on average, about 40% a year, we don't see the same rate of flaw introduction. About 30% of applications have some flaws, which may have accumulated up to the point where they did their first scan. But then over the next year, year and a half, that flaw arrival rate actually decreases.
