Do We Have the Authority to Remove the Web Shells?
The fbi used rule forty one authority and a technical operation to essentially se a cord order a standard warrant to remove the remaining web shells. A source that was able to help us out with identifying the file paths of the web shells on the victims computers. And by deleting the web shell, we essentially broke the communication, or the actor of attack, that was available between the chinese government, and the computers they had installed the power shell on sugjest.
