How a Military Spouse Moved to a New Base to Get Married
Yedam told her fiance that the stress was getting too much and he jumped into action. The military allows for spouses to request to be at the same base and they're usually good about transferring you quickly. They even went, um, rented a place near the base as their new newlywed house because she didn't want to live on base anymore. She would later tell her fiance, she wanted to cry right then and there, but because she's a female soldier, there's already a stigma. So she held it in and then ran outside and cried.
