Challenging the Narrative on Opioid Overdoses and Prescriptions

This chapter challenges the popular narrative that the increase in opioid overdoses is due to a spike in prescriptions. It argues that the overdose crisis is a result of prohibition and patients are now suffering from undermedication for pain.
