Data Brokers - Is There Any Real Client Base of Foreign Governments?
There's been some reporting done on foreign governments law enforcement agenciesa use of commercially acquired data. But this is exactly part of the problem, and this will come up even when im iam talking about this with federal policy makers. There are a few states that have lawsn ing data brokers, at least give definitions of data brokers. They're relatively very weak, because they don't actually put any kind of strictions in place on these companies.
