Inflation Isn't Cheap, It's Not Cheap for the Environment
The US is building two new major foundries. Europe is building its own. This is ultimately a good thing because it doesn't really make sense to have 92% of all high-end chips produced in Taiwan. But yeah, that's capital expenditure and that's inflationary. What I would argue though is over the mid to longer term, this is going to take us to a place where we have a more balanced economy.
