i think part of the objective is to appreciate implicit memory, but also to become increasingly aware of when it's filtering our present moment experiences in ways that are no longer helpful or hurtful. i conjure up an image of a car engine where we're not always paying attention and can't really tell if the car is on or off. And that's kind of how we are impl leas is in a good way, but also sometimes in a bad way,. When our implicit learnings are not so useful in the present moment, or when our implicit memories are not integrated with our explicit memory as is the case often with traman.
