A right-on has two spouts at the bottom and they're shaped like cherubs blowing, which I think is quite cute so that the wine would come out their face. But it's built for two people because you have two streams of wine. Now this is not your neighbour's drinking set. You know, this is clearly king or someone very, very important. So if you're willing to both of you drink from the same vessel, that's a massive show of trust between two people. The British Museum's latest exhibition, Luxury and Power, Persia to Greece, runs until the 13th of August.
