The BBC Shouldn't Be Frightened of the Monarchy
I think it's fair to say that the BBC is somewhat frightened of the monarchy. I believe in a constitutional democratic monarchy. The BBC should be able to look at the controversies that surround monarchy. We're an open society. We should know about them. If you're worried about upsetting, I'm not quite sure why. It's always been, after Queen Victoria died, we had monarchs who used politicians to replace the monarchy inside the constitution. And maybe now with a new king have a chance to do it.
