Is the Web Browser a Browser, or an Operating System?

Browsing is an information retrieval toet. That's what it was designed for, fundamentally. We're taking yo flatheaded screw driver and trying use it for a star phillip screw or positrie screw. So we've got this, we've got the wrong tool, in some ways, for this. And then youdot layer on top of that that it is around the users using it. If you get all those additional problems of usee, security problems, that is, curity issues that come along with that. It strikes me that it's almost as if the browser is an operating system on to itself.
