The Risk of Not Getting Paid in Bonds
There are two risks in bonds: the risk of a negative price fluctuation and not getting paid. The biggest mistake you can make is to buy 6% bonds in the hope of getting 9%. I do think that the things you want to do in your portfolio are better done in a cautious way than in an aggressive way.
