Comets and Their Relationship to Asteroids and Asteroid Belts
I'd like to talk a little bit about comets and their relation to asteroids and asteroid belts. Tell me what we know about comets, were they come from, as well as youre particular experiencing in participatingin this discovery. Roughly speaking, it's this beautiful thing that has a nice long tail in the sky. There's a steady flow of new comets that we get from these random facts that we can't really calculate. Once the comet starts losing material from thea radiate from heating from the sun, it typically will ast a few tens or hundreds of orbits, and then h disintegrate or become inactive.
