Accused and Condemned George Burrows

George Burrows had previously been a minister in Salem Village and was hauled back to face charges of being the witches ringleader. As he stood on the gallows, he recited the Lord's Prayer perfectly, something no witch was thought to be capable of doing. The accusations started to spread to other nearby towns as well. Giles Corey is pressed to death with heavy stones according to one source for two days until he died. He was executed after refusing to enter a guilty plea at the time of his arraignment.
