The Perrito Principle and the Power of Integrity
The Perrito principle is a power law and applies to so many things everyone will have heard at some stage of the 80-20 rule. Not only does it apply to whole populations, it actually applies to subsets within a population. And this was noted by the no Mandelbrot who became famous for his work on fractals. If you look at things like 80% of all crimes are committed by 20% of criminals, 80% of grand slam tennis tournaments are won by 60% of players.
