Is the Intelligence Community Trying to Perform That Repertoire Function?
The intelligence community is attempting to perform that function. This goes to something else, which is the credibility of a particular intelligence leader when dealing with the decision maker. But my concern is whether it happens in the civilian sphere, that the leader spends so much time trying to be friends with and understand what the decision maker is doing. And ok, he he may be able to better represent the agency because he's the arienta, but the drawback is that he or she is not then able to do the rest of the job.
