Identity and Extremist Politics in Ukraine

This chapter explores the impact of identity on extremist politics in Ukraine, discussing the adoption of Germanic and Viking heritage by Ukrainians and the false claims of difference between West and East Ukrainians. It emphasizes the need to move away from this false identity and suggests returning to a post-World War II treaty to establish proper boundaries.
