Getting a Consistent Snapshot
At the start of a transaction, a list of all the transactions in progress are identified and ignored by any reads. If it's written but higher than your ID, which would be newer, then you ignore it. You only want things that are like your transaction ID or lower that have been written. Everything else is fair game. There we go. That makes sense. But you see those answers, right?
