The british government has always been reluctant to do a general interment policy. The aim right from the beginning is to deport as many interneys as possible. Canada, in fact, does em does say that it will take a number of prisoners of war and those who are believed to have narty sympathies. One ship was targeted by a u boat, which fires its final torpedo that is carrying at the ship, which strikes. I believe 650 people drown in the sinking of the ship. Some are rescued.
