Footage shows that the corpse had actually gotten in a small argument with garage the day before the arrest. The copse arrived as usual to make sure the shops were closing. And gerage passed a rude comment directed at one of the cops to express his agitation for having to close the shops early. From the footage, it's obvious that the corpse took jerash to the police station in their car. What is also obvious from the footage is that gerage and bennix did not violate cove lock town rules. So not only was the treatment of the men in police custody unlawful and obviously illegal, the arrest of the men was illegal too. In this they suffered their internal injuries.
