Ransomware Trends for the Third Quarter of 2022
Intel 471 released a report today highlighting Ransomware activity in the third quarter of 2022. Lockbit 3.0 was found to be the most prominent Ransomware variant coming in at 192 to 10 protected breaches. The Black Basta Ransomware placed second, used against 50 organizations this past quarter. Consumer and industrial products were the most targeted industry by the Ransomware.
