Is This a Pandemic?
The rate of attrition in the restaurant sector would have been much lower pre-pandemic. Now it's one a day and sometimes two a day so you can see the level of closures. These were viable businesses pre-covid, they were all trading extremely well. All of these businesses will say it was the energy, cost of energy,. It was the build up of warehouse tax and then it was basically, some of them are just throwing in the towel.
