The Importance of Consistency in Investing
The idea of a three run home run and investing sounds a lot better to me. How do I put myself in a position to benefit when I don't know when the next home run is going to happen? That's why I love a weaver. Pearl Weaver made it cool to try and win the big game with one swing. He had a strategy, he had a game plan to take what was given and take advantage of it. Super critical. Investing baseball, venture capital, financing a film. Any discipline where you are facing uncertainty, where the knowns are unknown and you can't be so sure, put yourself in a position that maximize the upside.
