The Next Justice on the Us Supreme Court Should Be a Public Defender
Eight out of nine supreme court justices have represented the government in court. Only one, amy coney barett, has never done that in her prior professional experience. What i think matters most is that the person come from a background where they were adverse to thegovernment in court. And ther day to day orientation as a lawyer was being sceptical of things that the government does. That could be public defender, another kind of criminal offence lawyer, or can be a public interest lawyer like I used to be.
