Leftest opposition candidate, somara castro, declaring victory following this week ends presidential election. That's right, honduras has just elected its first female president. And better yet, she's a self proclaimed democratic socialist. For a couple of days it was unclear there if her early lead would hold. But all doubts were dissipated when the current president, the right wing juan orando ernandes graciously conceded defeat.
