The Apollo Theater in the 60s

In vaudeville, the rule was to be back in the house a half hour before the show starts. The Apollo is nice now but it looked like rats when you were there. In the basement they would rehearse there actually. And on Thursdays the next days the new show would rehearse in the basement.
