The Origins of Police Boxes
Police boxes were introduced in the 18 90 various different places as ways that members of the public can contact the police. It's a way of keeping track of lots of constables, to make sure they're on time, on their beats all the time. The last one gets taken out in arm in the early 90 eighties and now there are thousands lying around Britain. You knowits good to go round spotting em.
