Is There a Moral Dilemma?
Some characters want to preserve earth, and others want to sacrifice it for the potential of fut planets and future life. The film felt like a very abstract version of the the trolley problem - you can go in one direction or another. It's meant to be we can maybe direct our attitude towards it, but we don't moralize the universe in itself. I because iit it's a stupid premise,. basicallyas you cannot separate such moral complexities from any real world situation. And i think like a film like the dark night does that really will it takes these a moral dilemmas and grounds them into a reality.
