The Importance of Predictability in PPR Leagues
Among RB1 to RB12s over the last three seasons, the coefficient of variation within their weekly output was 0.64. Joe Flacco is basically just as predictable as Devontae Freeman. A conclusion you could probably draw from this then is that in a PPR league, running backs may give you an interesting edge.
