i moved to new york because the dream for me wasn't so much acting on broadway or becoming, you know, a star or a singer. It was more that my dream was to live in new york and i had always traveled there as a kid. I would suggest meeting up dot com and going to community sport groups like zog sports. You might meet someone one night, have a great conversation, and then you never see them again - but meat ups are good.
