Maple Syrup - The Warehouse That Stolen It
Over a space of 10 months, the thieves had managed to siphon maple syrup out of 9,000 500 barrels. The stolen syrup was only about 13 percent of the entire global strategic reserve at the other warehouses but its value was estimated to be around $18 million. Investigators issued more than 40 search warrants in New Brunswick, Ontario and in the northern states of America with the help of those US customs officers.
