The term "three point o" is being used in the tech world to describe a new type of social media. It's an amalgam of two and three points, but with more power over what users can do on it. The terms were coined by computer scientist David Weinberger as part of his PhD thesis at Harvard University. He says they're about how people use their own personal online spaces without surrendering control to intermediaries like Facebook or Twitter.
