The US's Role in Haiti's Earthquake

Data released by harp shows that for about 40 hours before the earthquake in Haiti, low frequency signals were detected in the ionosphere. Immediately after the earthquake, the signal abruptly stopped and then resumed with full amplitude two and a half hours later as if it had been switched off and on. NASA has been working with experts in the UK and Taiwan to study the link between earthquakes and electrical disturbances in the upper atmosphere.
