Industrialization in Chile in the Thirties and the 19 Sixties
In the 19 thirties, there's an urban plan that get developed for santiago centro. The idea is to move a lot of the industry that has sprung up in those intervening years from the early twentieth century. They want to move it out of the centre of the city and further on the periphery. And this is actully the first time that this worda corton industrial appears in like, an official government document. Wright: How did the creation of these specific sectors of city as industrial zones give rise to an urban culture that will then manifest itself in a very revolutionary moment once aenda comes to power?
