How to Test Your Gut Microbiome
Stool testing like probiotics is evolving and they're not all that. One of the problems is most of the testing services only drill down to genus. Clostridia can be Clostrididifacile that causes bloody diarrhea after an antibiotic can kill you. But then there's Clostridium butyricum, which is wonderful for health.
Today, I am blessed to have here with me Dr. William Davis. He provides solutions to health problems by addressing the microbiome, massively disrupted in modern people.

Eliminating wheat yields results beyond everyone's expectations: substantial weight loss, correction of cholesterol abnormalities, relief from inflammatory diseases like arthritis, better mood, reduced blood sugar with many type 2 diabetics being freed of insulin and other drugs, all articulated through his Wheat Belly series of books. - However, 30-50% of all antibiotics that are dispensed have no benefit to the recipient.

- There are a lot of problems with the current crop of commercial probiotics.
- For instance, most probiotics don’t specify strength.
- Plus, many probiotics don’t tell you what strain you are taking. Failing to specify strain is a major problem.
- Some companies are doing double encapsulation because they've been fooled into believing that probiotics should survive untouched until it gets to the colon.
- One in three people has a proliferation of unhealthy stool microbes in the small bowel.
- So, you don’t want your probiotics to be double encapsulated. That way, it can be released into the small bowel.
[20:45] Why You Shouldn’t Cut Your Fat When It Comes To Gallstones
- People think that fat causes gallstone. However, fat does not cause gallstones.
- General surgeons are guilty of telling people to cut their fat when taking out a gallbladder.
- When you cut fat, your gallbladder will store bile instead of squeezing it out.
- People who present with gallstones typically also have SIBO.
- If you're really having gallbladder symptoms, and one stone lodges in your bile duct, it is potentially catastrophic.
- Bile salts can be useful for your symptoms.
- Overall, the key is never to cut your fat and never cut your calories.

- Vitamin D has been now shown to amplify the intestinal immune response.
- Magnesium is an osmotic agent that pulls water into your bowels, and it prevents slowed passage of digested food.
