The Evolution of Natural Fibers
There's like 50 cotton species in the planet, roughly, which I never realized. Apparently African cotton showed up in Mexico for reasons known and if they hadn't had that mixed marriage, you wouldn't get the cotton that we have today. And then also some weird things that happened before humans arrived, particularly with cotton, where there were some really strange random events that made it a more versatile plant. That's sort of the theme of my first chapter is the first chapter is on fiber.
