A federal judge in Louisiana issued an injunction prohibiting the Biden administration from engaging with social media platforms on a variety of First Amendment protected activities. This arises out of a lawsuit pursued by Attorney Generals in Louisiana and Missouri, as well as individuals who claim the Biden administration has been coercing or strongly encouraging right-wing content to be de-prioritized. The Fifth Circuit opinion is not an example that we've seen other examples of this coming out of internet policy and especially them vigorous judicial interventions. And there's a room for really interesting thinking and compromise across the political spectrum.
