The Economy and Inflation Are Back to the Fore

The economy and inflation, especially with some of that news last week around inflation, maybe really have returned to the fore. In a recent New York Times, Sienna poll, 44% cited that as their top choice, as their top issue in terms of casting a vote, 5% chose abortion. The other issue Republicans have been pushing that may have some resonance in some of these suburban areas has been the issue of crime. Democrats were all talking about crime but they weren't talking about how it affected elections, they were talking about their own situations.
