Asylum Detention Centers
The courts across the country grant asylum at wildly different rates. It's hard to not think that personal animus on the parts of judges is really determining why these grant rates are so low. For me, the only ethical reason to restrict refugee admissions would be if you actually did not have the resources to support more population. I think it's a egregious moral wrong. The Western world is stingy towards the South.
